About the Creighton Mock Trial Team:
A Student Organization
At Creighton, the Mock Trial team is entirely a student organization. Although Creighton offers a
Mock Trial class, participation in this class is optional (though recommended) for team members.
Furthermore, any Creighton student is welcome to participate in Creighton Mock Trial. If you are
interested in joining, contact us.
The Creighton University Mock Trial Students’ Association is an organization designed for students to promote leadership, professionalism, outstanding academic achievement, and high ethical standards for themselves, the university, and the community through competitive Mock Trial as provided by the American Mock Trial Association. The organization will allow students who are interested in courtroom procedure to express themselves creatively, develop leadership skills, and prepare them for a career in the legal field while providing an excellent opportunity for genuine social interaction and bonding experiences.
Currently, Creighton has two 6-8 person teams, which are assigned team numbers each competition year. During competitions, in order to ensure unbiased judging, all teams are identifiable solely by their team numbers.
