Waite Endowed Chair: Spring 2022 Lecture with the Rev. Andre Brouillette, SJ, PhD, March 29

Please join Provost Mardell Wilson, EdD, RDN, for the Spring 2022 Waite Chair Lecture on Tuesday, March 29, featuring the Rev. Andre Brouillette, SJ, PhD, holder of the Anna and Donald Waite Endowed Chair in Jesuit Education at Creighton University.

“Synodality as the embodiment of a ‘pilgrim Church’: Reading the synodal endeavor in light of pilgrimage and the Second Vatican Council” will begin at 4 p.m. CDT, 2 p.m. MST, in the Harper Center, Room 4067. A virtual option is available via Zoom.

Brouillette joined the Society of Jesus in Montreal and has earned graduate degrees in philosophy, history and theology in Europe and North America. Brouillette taught philosophy and Church history for two years in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and has been a visiting scholar at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain. He is expert on St. Teresa of Avila, he specializes in 16th and 17th century spiritual theology and history, as well as the systematic theological issues of pneumatology and soteriology.
