The University is required by EPA regulations to recycle all rechargeable batteries.
All rechargeable batteries must be in individual, sealed plastic bags. Please do not put multiple batteries into a single bag; this could cause a fire. However, regular alkaline batteries should not be recycled.
If you are disposing of rechargeable batteries, including those for laptops, tools or other uses, please contact Mary Duda at mjduda@creighton.edu for more information on disposal.
