Staff Advisory Council: Phoenix Staff Representatives Elected

The votes have been counted. Meet your new representatives for the Staff Advisory Council from the Phoenix campus.

  • Rosie McSweeney, assistant director for Community Standards and Wellbeing. McSweeney has served in higher education for 15 years and believes in the importance of collaborative efforts to ensure mutually beneficial growth. She currently chairs the Phoenix CARE, a cross disciplinary group of faculty and staff aimed at promoting the safety and wellbeing of all Creighton community members. McSweeney also serves on the Wellness Committee, which is focused on supporting multi-dimensional health for faculty and staff. She is passionate about encouraging clear communication and creating a supportive community. The Ignatian values have prompted interest in this opportunity.  During her free time, McSweeney enjoys being outdoors, reading and her two dogs, Marley and Noel.
  • Jeffrey Song, administrative assistant with the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Departments on the Phoenix Campus. Song grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in public health. Following graduation, he served in the active component of the Army for five years before transitioning to the National Guard and joining Creighton University. Outside of work, Song enjoys hiking, exercising, video games and gardening.

Please welcome them and reach out if you have any concerns for the Staff Advisory Council.
