Join us for the Working for Racial Justice: Montgomery, Minneapolis, and Omaha weekend experience. In conjunction with the MAP program at Marquette University, and in collaboration with our community partners in Minneapolis, Montgomery, and Omaha, participants will explore the history of the racial justice movement in the United States, learn about current issues in racial justice through the lens of our community partners, see how partners are working for racial justice in our local community, and highlight assets and leaders of the local community. Ending the weekend, participants will hear about the next steps for addressing racial justice in our own lives.

Participants will be placed in groups within which they will reflect on the content over the course of the weekend and engage in Ignatian Advocacy and inclusive conversations about racial justice. Working for Racial Justice will introduce participants to ways to be involved in positive change after the weekend.

This experience is open to all Creighton students, faculty, staff, and alumni/ae.

Any questions? Contact Ken Reed-Bouley or Kaliyah Meriwether.
