Ongoing Service Opportunities
Join helping hands in cleaning up yards of elderly and disabled, who cannot afford yard clean-up. The clean-up includes: raking, litter, and small tree limb pick up and week pulling. Bags, gloves, rakes, shovels, and etc. will be provided by Keep Omaha Beautiful. For further information, please contact Kay Noonan (402) 444-7774

Work on one of two roadside gardens any Monday starting at 7:30 am. Volunteers are needed to remove weeds and litter and to plant new shrubs and flowers. Volunteers will be directed by a lead landscaper.

Siena/Francis House summer donations request list
Siena/Francis is in need of any household, toiletries, clothing, kitchen and paper products. Items such as cleaning products, soap, pillow cases, canned food,and jeans (sizes between 12 months – 5X) will be appreciated. Current critical needs include: 8oz. cups, pillows, blankets, disinfectant cleaners such as Pine-Sol or Bleach, zip-lock bags (all sizes), and pain relievers. Items can be donated to Siena/Francis House 1702 Nicholas Street Omaha, NE 68102. For further information, please check on their website.

Celebration of Civil Rights
Join in the Omaha community in a celebration of civil rights. This year commemorates the 60th year since the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement in 1954. A celebration will take place at the Century Link Center on July 18 to remember this momentous point in history.
Second Annual Rundee 5k fundraiser for Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance (OHKA)!
The race starts at 8:30 a.m., we need volunteers from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Proceeds from the race help OHKA advance their mission to promote safe, healthy, energy efficient housing for children and their families.

Support for Refugee Families
The Benson Area Refugee Task-Force (BART) is collecting clothing donations (infant – adult medium). They are especially in need of new underwear in any size.
