Upcoming Events: Legislative visits in the CCSJ!

Come join us to meet with Nebraska representatives in our office!
This month the CCSJ is participating in Ignatian Family Advocacy Month, a national event that gives Creighton students, and students from Jesuit high schools and colleges all across the country, a chance to meet with their local and national representatives to advocate for one of three national priorities. If you are interested in meeting with a representative about sustainable environmental practices, comprehensive immigration reform, and domestic poverty, please join us! The senator/representative and the priority the visit will cover are as follows:
1. Sen. Mike Johanns: Immigration
2. State Senator Jeremy Nordquist: Poverty in Nebraska
3. State Senator Sue Crawford: Poverty in Nebraska and Pre-natal Care
4. Rep. Lee Terry: Sustainability
For more information, or to sign up to be a part of one of the meetings, please contact Kelly Orbik at korbik@creighton.edu
