Charles E. Trimble will present his book IYESKA: Mixed-blood views of Indian Country. Born in 1935, Charles E. Trimble was raised on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and is an enrolled citizen of the Oglala Lakota Nation. In 2000, Creighton University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Sciences degree for his human rights work. A book signing will follow in Harper 3006, the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
