Help SEN (Student Empowerment Network) Spread the Word to End the Word™. We invite you to be a fan of respect and join us in an on-going campaign to stop the use of the word ‘retard(ed)’ or as we call it, the “R-word.” Over 225,000 people have pledged their support since the campaign launched in 2009, and we hope you can join us by making your pledge to end the use of the R-word.
On Wednesday, February 8th, SEN will be hosting an event to Spread the Word to End the Word. Please stop by the Health Sciences Library on February 8th from 12 – 1 to show your support and sign the pledge. As a thank you there will be baked goods and you will be entered into a drawing for prizes!!
