Turning The Page

This will be our last post for 2017, so on that note, have a merry and blessed Christmas, a safe and happy New Year, and we’ll see you in 2018!  We leave you with a small gift – a couple of images and some information.

While the inhabitants of Creighton University are off enjoying their Winter Break, construction crews are hard at work at the Reinert Alumni Memorial Library. The front desk of RAL is being renovated, a pleasant surprise for students returning from break in the New Year. The new desk will not only house the circulation desk that we all know and love, but will also be the new home for the DoIT help desk that was formerly elsewhere in our building. These changes will make the library an even more integral part of the Creighton campus as a studying hot spot, research resource and premium nap space. (“No, Mom, I wasn’t sleeping. I just closed my eyes so I could think better.”) The project should be completed sometime in February, so plan to stop by the library and check it out!

And now, some then and now photos for your enjoyment:
