CU Alumnus, Elenore Leonard (’15) Radio Hour

We miss you, Elenore! We’re so proud of you! (LinkedIn)

We are proud to share with you that one of our own, Elenore Leonard – past University Archives intern and student worker, and currently Curator at the Andrew County Museum in Savannah, Missouri – just recorded an hour-long segment about the museum and how it has been working with the community.  Her radio segment will air on November 4th at 1 pm and on the 5th at 4 PM. If you can’t tune in to either of the broadcasts, it will be available to the public through the St. Joseph Music Foundation.

Elenore worked with us from 2013 to 2015, at which point she graduated from Creighton University with a BA in History. She went on to earn her MA in Museum Studies at the University of Kansas.

And for a Creighton’s Attic tradition, which started in 2013 (thanks to Beth, another former student worker we still claim):  The photo of workers putting hands on the St. John’s Church clock* is a reminder to change your clocks Saturday night/Sunday morning.

This is the good time change, when you get an extra hour of sleep.

* The clock did not have hands for decades.  Read the linked blog post to learn more.
