happy belated easter to all!
This four day weekend was a pleasant break from school (but not work, guess optometrists don’t celebrate catholic holidays like Creighton University does). The weather was PERFECT, my favorite in the 70′s and with clear blue skies. Spent my time outside enjoying the sun running, walking around downtown, and spending time with friends in parks and sunny patches. I was able to try a few diners and eateries that I’ve been wanting to try, and also see a few people that I haven’t been able to see for way too long for meals and coffee.
On easter I managed to make it to two brunches, one in town at McFoster’s Natural Kind Cafe, which is a specialty resturant that will cater to vegetarian and vegan options for every dish, and also I went to a brunch out in Papillion with John’s family. Both were delicious and so fun!
I love that people are starting to solidify their plans for next year, and one of my best guy friends even got his acceptance into Medical School on thursday! Im so proud of him and all his accomplishments. Another one of my really good friends got engaged this past week, which is exciting for me because i have been her roommate for 3 years and have watched them grow together. Best of luck to all in the next few weeks- we’re almost finished!
