As you may (or may not) have known, I am a biology major here at creighton and am currently a pre-optometry student. I have been working this past fall for HOURSSSSSSSSSSS on applications and tests and such for graduate school.
Mostly, I was looking to move back west towards Hawaii, but I also applied to a school in St. Louis and a school in Philly. As it turns out- I’ll be headed to Philly next year! It’s a pretty exciting and fun experience to now be able to say that I’ve lived (or will live) on the west coast (erm..does the middle of the pacifc ocean count?), the midwest, and the east coast. Overall, I think that it’ll be a great new-fun-curious-exciting thing.
Since I also had the opportunity to go to school in California, It was a tough decision, but in the end I think that Philly is where I need to be. Finally, I’ll be one step closer to being an Optometrist!
